What is North Florida Youth Football Conference (NFYFC)Football?
NFYFC is a travel competitive football program. Our teams play approximately half of their games on our home field and half of their games against other NFYFC teams in St. Johns, Clay and Duval Counties. Teams compete against one another, records are kept and the top teams have the opportunity to advance to Playoffs. All teams must abide by Mandatory Play Requirements (see below) ensuring each player a minimum number of plays in each game

The 6U division is an excellent opportunity for the very youngest aspiring football players to get their feet wet in tackle football. Parents of a 5 year old do not have to worry about their child getting his first taste of tackle football against a player that has been playing for two seasons already. This division is also 8 on 8 football (as opposed to 11 on 11). This allows us to keep the team sizes smaller so that more attention can be paid to each individual child. It is also much easier for a coach to handle the smaller sized team of very young players.
NFYFC rules require a mandatory number of plays for each participant during a football game. The guidelines for the number of plays required are based on the number of players present for the game. The guidelines will be posted once we receive them for 2020.
